ATLANTA, GA — Boys selling water on the streets in Atlanta isn’t an uncommon sight, however, several people are saying they’ve been victims.

They’re asking the city and mayor to step up and help, reported WSB.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms described some of them as “up-and-coming entrepreneurs. She has formed an advisory committee that will try to find solutions for those who want to continue safely selling water.

One woman told the news station that after she handed a few dollars to a boy selling water, a group ran up demanding money too. Her purse was stolen and they took her car. She had to go to the hospital and she learned that her vehicle was damaged.
